Three commitments that make an engagement auditable
These are process commitments, not outcome promises. What a project achieves depends on decisions neither party controls alone; what it produces is something we can put in writing.

Scope in writing
A scoping call, then a written scope: the problem as we understand it, the deliverables, the phases and what is explicitly out of scope. Nothing starts before both sides have read the same document.

Build in visible increments
Work lands in reviewable increments in a repository you own, with automated tests and a running environment you can open. Progress is something you look at, not something you are told about.

Hand over so you can leave
Every phase ends with artefacts that survive us: documentation, runbooks, infrastructure definitions and access. A supplier you cannot replace is a risk, not a relationship.
